One Year Run

Hello everyone,

 As you all know, I’ve abandoned the site. I regret doing so, but I’ve been caught up in things and well, I kind of lost track of making ROM edits.

Now, this doesn’t mean that the site is dead (to a degree, anyways) but it will remain this way. I won’t be updating the site as often as I use to, but does that mean that I’ll stop making ROMs? No. I will be putting ROMs to aside until I find a right time to work on them. I’m more likely to just update the site if  I upload a ROM I’ve been working on secretly. Until then, I’ll be making decisions.

What Will Be Happening

Hello everyone,

 Yes, it’s been a while since I’ve made a post and I want to apologize on my behalf. Things have been happening and I was caught up in it that I could care less about making ROMs. I will announce what I have planned.

First off, Emerald has been put aside from now and I will be making a huge decision in what ROM I will use. I may use a Ruby or Sapphire ROM to prevent any glitches).

Crystal was rather glitchy and I truly didn’t like that one bit. This also has something to do with another thing I have in plan. I will in fact be making a “better” version of Pokemon Beta Crystal, based off either a Gold ROM or Silver ROM. (maybe both) Crystal wasn’t the best thing to download and I do have ideas to fix my mistakes.

I will also make it where you can obtain all 251 Pokemon since trade isn’t possible. That way you can obtain your favorite Pokemon without trouble or without a GameShark. Until then, I’ll keep you updated. ~ Sir Mudkip

Update + Preview

Hello everyone,

 Mudkip here with an important update! I have two previews for all of you to see! With the new tools I’ve obtained, I’m able to do way more to this re-creation of Emerald. Remember, everything is still in development and will undergo major changes over time.

An updated LittleRoot Town! This is still in development, so for now, it doesn't look like much.

It may not look like much (which it isn’t), but it’ll improve over time. Until then, I’ll keep you updated! ~ Sir Mudkip

The ability to select Kanto Pokemon! This may change, and if I'm able to edit it correctly, I could add some "new/beta" Pokemon.

Update: Pokemon Beta Crystal: Editing in Progress + Update Concerning Emerald Re-Creation

Hello everyone,

 Mudkip here with two announcements. First off, I have been tinkering with a copy of Pokemon Beta Crystal, and I do intend to make it better. Also would like to add that with all the tools I’ve found, I’m able to work with it more. I can edit the typing, cries, and so on. Hopefully by then, I’ll be able to make it more enjoyable (maybe even remake the beta Violet City?).

 Meanwhile, I have yet to make any progress on the Emerald re-creation. Previously, I intended to make a different starting town location, though it didn’t work out too well, and when I tried to correct it, it glitched badly. However, I will see if I can make progress and upload a sneak peek in around 2 weeks or less. Until then, I’ll try to keep you all updated. ~ Sir Mudkip

Notice For Everyone

Hello everyone,

 Mudkip here with an important announcement. The site will be on strike, so if you’re viewing a page that’s blacked-out, then it’s on strike, and will remain that way for 12 hours. (8 AM to 8 PM EST)

Why am I doing this? Simple answer, really. SOPA is a bill that threatens the internet. Let’s say you upload a video about cheats, tutorials, ect. about a video game you bought. If this bill passes, then technically you’re breaking the law. This also applies to me as ROM are copyrighted. As for now, just hope for the best.

Next Project: Pokemon Emerald Re-Created + May Continue With Site

Hello everyone,

 Mudkip here with two announcements. First off, I may possibly not retire early. I had to think for a while on what I should do, and I’ve decided to give it one more shot. If I fail to make my next ROM hack, then it’s a fact that the site will close.

 Meanwhile, I do have one particular update you all would be pleased with. I am confirming that I will be re-creating Pokemon Emerald. I was tinkering with it a few days ago, and decided to go on as planned. However, this won’t be easy, and it’s possible that I may re-write the scripts/texts if I can learn how to do it properly. Hopefully by next week, I’ll leak a sneak peek of my progress. Until then, I’ll keep you updated! ~ Sir Mudkip

Taking a Break

Hello everyone,

 Mudkip here with an update. I will be taking a break from the site and ROM hacks for a while. Why? Well, I need to make a decision on what I should do.

I don’t know why, but I’m losing interest in making ROM hacks. What does this mean? Well, it means that I could possibly retire, and either close the site, or pass it on to someone who’ll make ROM hacks and enjoy it. At first, making ROM hacks shines, but it just loses that shine over time, and set backs made it worse.

I have valid reasons for considering this. My reasons are -

1. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to keep up with making ROM hacks.
2. I’m afraid of getting a Cease & Desist from Nintendo, or some other company that’s similar. I really don’t want a lawsuit hovering over my head, not even a thought of one.

If you were doing something similar to this, how would you feel about getting a lawsuit? It’s not the type of thought you want in your head. Plus, I don’t want to announce something that I’ll never be able to deliver. I’ve made that mistake before, and I feel guilty because of it.

There’s also something I’ve been trying to gain back, and that’s gaining my confidence back in drawing. So far, I’ve created a deviantArt account so I can improve on my work. Here’s one of them I’m proud of.

I plan to upload and make more drawings. It’s actually fun again, and more of a challenge. Until then, I’ll update soon. ~ Sir Mudkip

TPG: Employment Page Errors + D/C Page

Hello everyone,

 Mudkip here with an update. I’ve just realized that the employment page is rather glitched, and I will be removing the question form. Instead, I’ll type questions out for you to copy and paste with a link to my e-mail. This way may be quicker since I’ll already be on my e-mail and either send an approval, or just send a reply at all within 48 hours.

Meanwhile, I plan to take the Development and Concept page out. Why? It doesn’t serve any purpose, and it’ll be taking up more room.

I also intend to update the site a bit, but I’m not sure if I will or not. Until then, I’ll keep you updated. ~ Sir Mudkip

 Mudkip here with something that may please you all! I am here to say that I will not be choosing a ROM hack! Instead of me choosing the ROM, you get to choose yourself! Here is a list of selections:
